Amanda Hall
Occupational Therapist
Amanda is a neurodivergent Occupational Therapist who graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) in 2022. With extensive experience within the NDIS space, she has worked across various areas including psychosocial disability, physical disability, mental health, assistive technology assessment and prescription, functional capacity assessments, as well as therapy plans and interventions. Amanda has supported participants across the lifespan, from children to adults, with tailored interventions that meet individual needs and goals.
Amanda is deeply committed to providing therapeutic interventions through a trauma-informed and neuroaffirming approach, ensuring a safe and supportive space for all clients. Her practice centres on facilitating meaningful engagement in daily activities that promote independence, well-being, and a higher quality of life.
Amanda has a special interest in neurological disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), bringing both her professional expertise and lived experience to better understand and address the unique challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals. Her approach is always client-centered, focusing on empowering individuals to live fulfilling, engaged lives.
Beyond therapy, Amanda is an advocate for neurodivergent individuals, working to ensure their voices are heard, their needs are met, and their rights are respected. She strives to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for neurodivergent individuals, both within therapy sessions and in the broader community.
Amanda is committed to ongoing professional growth and stays informed on the latest research in paediatric occupational therapy, neurodivergent support, trauma-informed care, and advocacy. She works collaboratively with families, schools, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic, client-centered approach that leads to positive, long-term outcomes.
