Abena is a dedicated Provisional Psychologist committed to supporting children, families, and individuals in creating meaningful, lasting change. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University, U.S.A, and is currently completing her supervised practice pathway toward full registration.


Abena has experience working in diverse settings, including her role with UNHCR Ghana, where she contributed to supporting vulnerable populations, and her work with children at Pathways to Wellbeing in Delaware, USA. These experiences have strengthened her ability to work with individuals from varied cultural and social backgrounds.


She has a strong interest in evidence-based approaches, particularly Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which she uses to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Her work focuses on developing practical strategies that empower clients to manage challenges, build resilience, and improve overall wellbeing.


She is passionate about working with diverse communities and is committed to promoting positive mental health outcomes for every individual she supports.
